Our foundation has always been in the field. While many measurement companies start in the lab and send technicians out as needed, we took the opposite approach. Premier’s measurement technicians work directly at meter sites, facilities, gathering points, and well leases to install and calibrate meters, perform borescope inspections, verify transmitters, and collect defensible samples. Being present on location reduces delays, prevents errors, and provides clarity before the sample ever reaches the lab.
This field-first philosophy shapes everything we do. Our operators and analysts work as one team. The technicians who collect your samples are the same professionals who understand how your product flows, where it came from, and why it matters. Two Facilities, One Integrated Team
Premier operates laboratories in Hobbs, New Mexico and Odessa, Texas, strategically positioned to serve operations throughout the Permian Basin. Both facilities are equipped for natural gas, NGL, and LPG analysis using GPA, ASTM, API, and BLM-aligned methods. We specialize in extended hydrocarbon analysis, sulfur speciation, BTEX testing, and liquid property analysis with clear, audit-ready reporting formats designed for compliance verification and custody transfer documentation.
Our strength is the connection between the field and the lab. The same team that calibrates your meters and pulls your samples brings that operational knowledge into the analysis process. We understand Permian Basin conditions, common equipment configurations, and the challenges operators face because we work in the field every day.
Getting Closer
As we expand our field service crews and laboratory capabilities, we’re getting closer to the meters, closer to the wells, and closer to the decisions that rely on accurate data. We’ve added Coriolis proving services with mobile and stationary units achieving ±0.05% accuracy. We stock essential parts for same-day pickup at both locations. We respond the same day when measurement issues arise.
